my 8-bit fetish

Im not a big fan of the Band Weezer,to me they always appeared like a crappy college rock band with a nerdy singer with glasses(jey letz roqk!). Just a minute ago ive just found this cool 8-Bit Weezer Cover album and what can i say.. Im a sucker for 8-Bit Cover Versions.

Heres some Typo stuff, not that old not that new. Ive created this Font using only 3 these basic 4sliced shapes:

a sphere; a square; and a 45° turned square which created triangles. 

Creating this Typeface has been quite intresting.. (not done yet… capitals etc still missing) 

I love the idea to build letters from simple stacked shapes. This gives you the opportunity to create HUUUUGE scale stencil graffiti letters and all you need to carry around with you are the “small” basic shapes in a bag! :) (double plus good)

Oh yeah and i think it also works pretty nice as a font for poster stuff.

As you can see ive been already trying to create a few Capital and “fi’s” …
